Trondheim parking wants to make your visit to our town pleasant - by offering you quick and easy parking.
Trondheim parking has around 1400 parking places available on the city streets. You pay in the parking meters (parkeringsautomatene). Both coins and credit cards are accepted.
You can park up to five hours in most parking spaces in the city centre. They are marked with blue P-signs. The charge is NOK 22 for the first hour. Then the price rises gradually, so that five hours costs NOK 152.
Parking in doors
An easier and cheaper alternative is to use one of our eight parking garages. You receive a ticket when driving in, and you do not pay until you collect your car. This means you do not have to worry about getting back before time runs out – you pay for the time you have parked. The rate per hour varies from NOK 20 to NOK 22. You will never pay more than NOK 175 for 24 hours. If you have any problems or have any questions about using our parking facilities, our service office is open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 10 pm and Saturday from 9 am until 7.30 pm.
Hotel parking
Trondheim parking cooperates with some of the city's hotels so that you can purchase a parking pass at the hotel reception. This allows you to drive in and out of the parking garages as many times you wish during the period you have paid for. This is especially practical if you want to drive around and visit the city's many tourist attractions.
Bus parking
Several parking spaces in Trondheim are reserved for tourist buses. They are spacious and free and at most of them you can park a tourist bus as long as you need.

Tinghusgata: From 01 May – 15 September
Bispegata at Rådhuset: 01 May – 15 September
Bispegata at Kongsgårdsgata: All year round. Maximum 15 minutes.
Sverres gate: All year round
